Embarking on the challenge of climbing Sri Pada from four different routes in just 24 hours is an extraordinary feat, one that will undoubtedly be remembered for years to come. Such an accomplishment, especially at your age, is a testament to your inner strength and determination.

However, amidst the celebration of this remarkable achievement, it’s crucial to address a pressing issue that plagues the sacred mountain of “Sri Pada” – the mounting piles of plastic and waste left behind by visitors. Over the past few months, the accumulation of waste has reached alarming levels, tarnishing the natural beauty of this revered site.

As a nation, we must acknowledge that we have not yet fully grasped the importance of preserving our environment, particularly in our mountainous regions that eventually lead to the ocean. The consequences of our actions extend beyond the mountains themselves; they affect the delicate ecosystems of our oceans, threatening marine life and polluting our waters.

INORA, Institute of Ocean Resources Analysis ,as a beacon of environmental consciousness in our maritime nation, is dedicated to combating the scourge of plastic pollution. Through education and awareness initiatives, we strive to empower individuals to take responsibility for their actions and make sustainable choices.

It is with great admiration that we extend an invitation to you to join us as a BRAND AMBASSADOR for the  INORA . Your record-breaking achievement serves as a powerful example of what can be accomplished through determination and perseverance. By lending your voice to our cause, you have the opportunity to inspire others to take action and work towards a cleaner, greener Sri Lanka.

Together, we can work towards eliminating the plastic scourge from our island and safeguarding the natural treasures that make Sri Lanka so unique. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors and look forward to collaborating with you in our mission-  to protect our environment for generations to come.
